PRIVATE STRUCTURE (Lease only). Villa Cristina is a former hunting lodge nestled in the hills above Montecatini Terme. Surrounded by olive trees, fruit trees and aromatic herbs, this small, converted holiday villa enjoys sweeping views over the Valdinievole hills. Completely renovated for up to three guests, the villa is light-filled and modern in style. Arranged over two levels, the interiors span a compact open-plan living space with a kitchen and sitting area, as well as two bedrooms with bathrooms. Outside, the garden features a shaded lounge area with seating beneath a sail canopy, a panoramic dining area with a barbecue and a private swimming pool positioned just below the house. The location is convenient for exploring many of Tuscany’s highlights, from Florence and Lucca to the golden beaches of Versilia, while golfers and wellness enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby courses and thermal baths.

Interior:

The villa is arranged over two floors. GROUND FLOOR – Entrance from the forecourt into a living area with kitchen and dining table; bathroom with shower. LOWER FLOOR (accessed via an internal iron spiral staircase) – One single bedroom with a French-size bed; one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.

Park:

The villa is set within a fully fenced, terraced garden of approximately 2500 sqm, planted with olive trees, fruit trees and Mediterranean shrubs. Hedges provide separation between the main garden and pool area. A white gravel driveway lined with fruit trees leads from the entrance gate to the parking area, shaded by a pergola covered with kiwi plants. Outside the house, a shaded lounge area is furnished with outdoor seating beneath a sail canopy. Nearby, a panoramic dining area includes a brick-built barbecue. A short flight of steps leads from the dining area through the olive grove to the swimming pool, which can also be accessed from the adjacent sleeping area. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The swimming pool is located on a lower terrace beside the villa, with views over the Valdinievole hills. Rectangular in shape; measures 11 x 3 m with a constant depth of 1.50 m; lined in sand-coloured PVC with a border in pietra serena; accessed via Roman steps and a recessed corner with a shallow beach area; chlorine purification system; internal lighting. The surrounding sunbathing area is paved with non-slip resin slats in a teak effect and is furnished with sunbeds, tables, an umbrella and a solar-heated shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

We had a wonderful holiday in Villa Cristina 3. The location, up in the mountains, is beautiful and the villa itself is perfect for a couple. We loved the swimming pool and deck area especially. The restaurant next door is amazing too. We would definitely love to go back.

Yes, absolutely- nice little house, our dogs liked that it was fenced in completely. Kitchen etc was equipped quite good and quality of bathrooms etc very good. Beds were comfortable and pool really has such outlook. Great was that restaurant “la Baita“ is in walking distance.

Wifi outside (furthest place next to the pool) is weak. It might be a good idea to install a signal strengthener outside for better wifi outside

  • objectively and unambiguously documentable motivations of health or work and not foreseeable at the time of booking
  • Covid-19 infections (new)
  • a terrorist attack that has struck the place of stay (new)

Zer0Dep stands for "Zero deposit"; it is a coverage which replaces the security deposit and which is therefore mandatory. The benefits of this guarantee are: you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are covered in case of any damage to the property caused by you or members of your group/family during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1,500 euros);
  • you avoid any dispute on the responsibility of the damage and its quantification during check-out;
  • you can enjoy your villa holiday in greater toughtlessly.
